GOD HAS DONE A WONDROUS THING!!

Psalm 72 was in my devotional reading today. It is King David’s prayer of blessing upon his son, King Solomon. Our dear President Trump has the same blessing upon him! Notice how David instructs us to pray for our leader! #MAGA

“Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son. He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor. They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth. In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust. The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him. For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight. And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen. The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭72:1-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Trump is the King of Hearts

The media does not cover the Trump rallies as they should, Fox News included. The thousands, who regularly attend these unprecedented political rallies, are usually ignored. The cameras rarely span the gathered multitudes. Usually we just see Trump and the people sitting behind him. The attendees, who stand in line for hours, are seldom interviewed.

As demonstrated in the primaries and general election of 2016, Trump rallies are a much more accurate barometer to predict the outcome than the pre-election polls. Therefore, we can conclude things are looking bad for the Democrats in the Mid-Terms.

The Trump card was drawn by thousands in Nevada. “One-percent” Biden had at the most two hundred draw his card. Biden is merely a deuce. Trump is the King of Hearts. Ted Cruz is the Jack of Hearts. Who knows what other cards Trump is holding? It could be a Royal Flush and he will clean the table both in the Senate and House.

Two Wise Men

GOD HAS DONE A WONDROUS THING!! He given us Trump, who is the Solomon of our time.

Psalm 72 is King David’s prayer of blessing upon his son, Solomon, who was David’s appointed heir to the throne. Our great President Trump has the same blessing upon him!

Using the vast wealth he and his father accumulated, Solomon built the First Temple in Jerusalem, which is his primary legacy.

Trump got his start as one of the world’s premiere builders with a million-dollar loan from his father. Donald far surpassed his father as a builder by concentrating on building in Manhattan. Trump Tower has become Manhattan’s most noted building.

Like Trump, trade relationships were a focus of Solomon’s administration. He continued his father’s very profitable relationship with the Phoenician king Hiram I of Tyre, who helped him build the Temple. Solomon and Hiram I sent out joint expeditions to the lands of Tarshish and Ophir to engage in the trade of luxury products, importing gold, silver, sandalwood, pearls, ivory, apes and peacocks.

Solomon is considered the wealthiest of the Israelite kings. Trump is the wealthiest president in American history.

Solomon greatly expanded his military strength, especially the cavalry and chariot arms. He founded numerous colonies, some of which doubled as trading posts and military outposts. Trump’s is in the process of strengthening the American military.

Psalm 72: “He (Solomon) shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.”

Trump desires neither to favor the rich nor the poor but he judges all men righteously. Through deregulation and lower taxes, he is enabling commerce to flourish and by new trade deals make America once again the best place in the world to do business and the land of opportunity, while the stock market soars. Thus, the poor will not have to be dependent on government but can learn independence, initiative and industry and thus prosper over the long run. There need not be generations on the dole and doomed to poverty on the Democrat plantation.

“The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.”

The mountains represent lower officials and bureaucrats in the central government. Trump brings peace by draining the Washington swamp of self-serving political hacks. The hills are state and local governments and officials who will learn to follow Trump’s lead, who oversees all by sleeping neither day or night.

“He shall save the Children.”

Trump’s plan for saving children in the womb is to place strict constructionists on the Supreme Court who will if not overturn Roe v Wade will at least return the abortion issue to the states.

“He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth. In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.”

Trump is a breath of fresh air that Washington has not smelled since the Reagan years. After Reagan, a stench filled Washington, which ascended to heaven. God himself had to intervene to give us Trump, a sweet.

Trump has shown favor to the Church, which should enable the Body of Christ to flourish as Christians catch the vision to Make the Church Great Again.

In the 2020 election, there is no reason why Trump shouldn’t carry every state from sea to shining sea.

“They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.”

The darkest wilderness in America is Academia. Alas, it should be the bearer of civilization and light. Academia’s influence will wain during the Trump Age and the professors will bow to his world vision, in the end not being able to resist his wisdom and common sense. The phony intelligentsia will be eating dirt. Under our businessman president, the entrepreneur, builder and inventor will again receive the greatest praise as it was in “The Gilded Age” of American history.

“Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.”

Despite themselves, leaders on the world stage will pay homage to Trump, as we no longer have a president apologizing for America’s wealth, prosperity and policies, but one who promotes and praises America. These world leaders will all be looking up to Trump. He will not bow to them. Americans bow to no one but God.

“They of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.”

Rebuilding our cities and infrastructure is a key concern of Trump. Solomon constructed great works for the purpose of securing a plentiful supply of water for the city of Jerusalem. Solomon is also rebuilt cities elsewhere in Israel, creating the port of Ezion-Geber, and constructing Palmyra in the wilderness as a commercial depot and military outpost. During Solomon’s reign, Israel enjoyed great commercial prosperity, with extensive traffic being carried on by land with Tyre, Egypt, and Arabia, and by sea with Tarshish, Ophir, and South India.

“His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.”

Millenniums after his reign, Solomon is known as the wisest man of the Ancient World. His administration is still studied and his writings are still read. Anyone, who puts into practice Solomon’s Proverbs, is bound to be successful and fulfill his destiny. Solomon was blessed with wisdom, sound judgment and victory over his enemies.

As Trump remains faithful, his life, political savvy, common sense and leadership abilities will ever be studied. Men will be more inspired by him to accomplish greatness than any other American. Trump’s name itself is prophetic. We are privileged to watch history in the making living in the Era of Trump.

Donald J. Trump is the son of our Founding Fathers, who look down from heaven upon their son as he renews the vision they had for our beloved country.

“The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.”

I know of no president in my life-time who has the prayer backing that Trump has. Also, he has arguably the most prayerful VP in the history of the US.

As we hold the president up in prayer and as he remains obedient to his calling, watch these utterances come to pass. Remember, just as there is some hyperbolic prophesies of David concerning Solomon my prayers and prophesies may contain some of the same. David’s prophesies actually look beyond Solomon to the Messianic age and beyond.

Will Trump’s America usher in the second coming of the Lord? I waver between amillennial and post-millennial eschatology. Post-millennialism is the most optimistic view of the future and I am an optimist at heart. And so is Trump. Watch and pray! Trump is preparing the way for the Lord to return and rule and reign on earth. And we shall rule and reign with him. President Trump is showing Christians how to lead

The Trump Factor will Take Midterms

The Democrats for their blue wave are counting upon historical precedents, when the party that has the majority in Congress and holds the WH loses seats. With Trump factor, you can throw out historical precedents. There has never been such a zealous and energetic campaigner as Trump, who draws the multitudes wherever he goes. Tonight, he is rallying in PA. I will be tuning in. How about you?

Patriarchy or a Gynecocracy?

Odysseus (Ulysses) sailed by, bound tightly to the mast, while his men blocked their ears with wax. The Sirens were so distressed to see a man hear their song and still escape that they threw themselves into the sea and drowned.

Our dauntless President, has also tied himself to the mast of the ship of state, to protect his men from the sirens who have descended on the Potomac to shipwreck our patriarchy and established a gynecocracy government, not a matriarchy because these bird-women don’t want to be mothers.

Trump Cathedral

I have a sure-fire plan for building a great church. We will name it Trump Church, no, better yet, call it Trump Cathedral. The motto will be “Make the Church Great Again (MCGA).”

I will be senior pastor of the Trump Cathedral. President Trump will always be welcome to deliver the Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving Day message. He has demonstrated that he can speak on these religious issues as well as if not better than most pastors.

This will not be without precedent. There is the Washington National Cathedral. In Lexington, VA. There is R.E. Lee Memorial Chapel (There was recent talk about changing the name; I don’t know whether it was done or not).

There are many Trump people, who would like to attend Trump Cathedral, who likely don’t go to church regularly, because the churches tend to have a negative view on the future. Too many churches have a loser instead of a winner mentality.

Trump Cathedral will represent the Second Triumph of Christianity accomplished by Constantine the Great at the Battle of Milvian Bridge in the issuance of the Edict of Milan in 313 A.D.

“The gates of Hell will not prevail against the Trump Cathedral. We build a beautiful stone church with no expense spared for the glory of God and his Son Jesus Christ. Trump cathedral will win, win, win souls.”

FOLLOW UP:

My satirical post a few days ago concerning establishing a Trump Church or Trump Cathedral received a lot of attention, mostly likes, but some friends accused me of blaspheme. Satire is humor, not simply for a laugh, but for the purpose of illustrating truth or making a point in an entertaining way.

Now some of you pastors, who work so hard to encourage folks to visit your church might try putting up a sign, maybe temporary, which reads the Church of Trump or maybe something less daring like advertising a sermon on, “The Faith of Trump.” I would even be glad to come and deliver the message. I am convinced that such a sign or advertising such a message would draw visitors. Give it a try pastor. As Trump told African Americans, “Vote for me, what do you have to lose?”

Friends have been accusing me of making an idol out of Trump. Not so, Trump is my hero. We all need heroes. Hebrews Chapter 11 is often called the “Hall of Faith” or the “Faith Hall of Fame.” In this renowned chapter, Paul celebrates an inspiring list of heroic figures from the Old Testament –remarkable men and women, whose stories stand out to encourage and challenge our faith. Some of these heroes are famous personalities, while others remain anonymous. Some of these champions were saintly, others were flawed.

In the early days of my ministry, I was invited to preach at a black church in Indianapolis. Jimmy Carter had recently been elected president. The pastor counseled me for an hour concerning the black community, especially the black church. I remember him saying, “The fact that Jimmy Carter is noted as Sunday School teacher and claims to be born-again helps me.” I learned a lot from the pastor in that hour.

Pastor, promoting Trump can help your church. I know some see Trump not as a man of faith but simply a man with extreme self-confidence. The skeptic and or envious perceive him as prideful and a braggart. I respect him as an example of heroic faith, which should motivate all of us to think big and build a great church which will impact the community and the world.

Trump the Great

Constantine the Great (272-337 A.D.) was responsible for two momentous transformations of history and civilization: moving the capital of the Empire from Rome to Constantinople (the City of Constantine) and making possible the conversion of the Roman Empire to Christianity.

Constantine is regarded as a saint by the Eastern Church, but is not so highly regarded in the West. All of us, East and West, should be thankful that Constantine, God’s Champion, delivered our Christian forefathers from three centuries of terrible persecutions by “executive order,” the Edict of Milan in 313.

The great church historian and Constantine biographer, Eusebius, once heard the Emperor say, when he was entertaining a company of bishops, “You are bishops whose jurisdiction is within the Church: I also am a bishop, ordained by God to overlook whatever is external to the Church.”

Eusebius added, “And truly his measures corresponded with his words; for he watched over his subjects with an episcopal care and exhorted them as far as in him lay to follow a godly life.”

To Eusebius Constantine was the “the blessed Emperor.”

Will “BishopTrump” one day be known as “Trump the Great?” Last year, Trump signed the “Presidential Executive Order Promoting Free Speech and Religious Liberty.” Since then he has moved the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Hopefully, he has made peace with North Korea, which will likely open up the country to evangelism.

So far these and other accomplishments are not as momentous as Constantine’s, but Trump is only 500 days into his likely eight years of governing. Bishop Constantine ruled the Empire for almost a quarter of a century.

Our blessed President!

Memorial Service at Arlington

Did you watch the Memorial Service at Arlington with the President presenting the wreath and his moving remarks?

When the President was introduced, he was wildly cheered by the people attending, which I assume was mostly made up of military families. They love the President.

The President paid tribute to Bob Dole (94) and the oldest survivor of the Pearl Harbor attack (106); both stood with the help of attendants and waved. He also honored the fallen heroes, whose families were present.

The son of one of our heroes is graduating from Liberty University and is going to join the armed forces and serve like his father did.

An about 8-year-old boy, who has become a friend of the President, was dressed sharply in a full marine uniform with cap and all. Earlier he had introduced the President to his father at his grave sight in Arlington.

Sara Huckabee Sanders, who is a hero in her own right, loomed behind these families. She takes bullets for the President from the snipers of the press in the W.H. briefings every day. And believe me, she knows how to fire back like a machine gun cutting them down one by one.

The President, as he always does in his ceremonial duties, struck just the right tone. I remember the media and Trump’s other political opponents during the campaign constantly questioning whether Donald Trump, with his politically incorrect and outspoken words and sometimes even personal insults, would be able to handle the official responsibilities of a President.

Candidate Trump assured everyone that he was raised well and knew how to behave when necessary. Those of us who were early on the Trump train knew this and had no doubts.

Reagan was also good in presidential rituals; however, he did not have the unique ability to get off script to connect with individuals and families that Trump has.

President Trump referred to God often in his speech and he reassured the families that their valiant and sacrificial husbands and fathers were “looking down from Heaven” with approval.

After all, did not Jesus say? “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”—John 15:13. These men laid down their lives for God, Country, and their comrades at arms.

After the ceremony ended the President, Secretary Mattis, generals, and other dignitaries spent time with the families.

I was disappointed when Fox News continued its inane chatter during the prayer and the Battle Hymn of the Republic. I switched to C-Span to catch the end of the prayer and all the rest of the religious aspects of the ceremony. C-Span will be doing reruns of the ceremony throughout the day. I recommend that if you missed it to tune in.

Strange Pick by God

Samson was called by God to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. Samson had a lust for wicked, heathen women. He went into a whore in the city of Gaza. Evidently, betrayed by the harlot, the authorities found out he was in the city. So, they locked the city gates and determined to kill Samson in the morning.

But, “Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them on his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron.”

He carried these weighty gates for twenty miles evidently in sight of both high cities. His exploit was a symbol of Christ’s resurrection, of whom Samson was a type, who being buried in a sepulchre, and sealed and watched by soldiers, broke through the bars of death and the grave, and carried off the doors in triumph; and ascended to heaven, whereby he declared himself to be the Son of God with power. When you think about it, Samson was an extraordinary choice to be one of the premier Old Testament types of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Samson was an aggressive and militant man of faith, who hoped to inspire his people by carrying the doors of the of Gaza gate in their sight for twenty miles but they just became more fearful of the Philistines and hid themselves instead of fighting for their inheritance.

Jesus said, “The gates of Hell shall not prevail against my Church.”

Regrettably, finding men of faith to believe Jesus’ prophesy in each generation is a challenge. Christians have too much of a fortress mentality, believing themselves to be safe as long as they stay within the gates of the Church, instead of taking the offensive and bringing Christ into the Public Square as President Trump has done. The Church should be storming the gates of Hell by taking Christ to the streets, instead of allowing Satan to attack the doors of the Church.

As a result of President Trump’s apparent weakness for loose women and prostitutes in the past, the Democrats hoped they would be able to entrap and slay the Presidency of Donald Trump, whom God has raised to deliver American from the hands of the economic and cultural Marxist (Philistines). But Trump broke through their iron gates and once again has triumphant over his enemies and their many ploys.

Trump is more outspoken and speaking of his faith than many ministers. He does not allow his past sins to make him cowardly and cow tow to his enemies as too many who name the name of Christ do.

Trump, America’s Samson, will prevail against the enemies of God, who are attempting to break up the foundations of our Republic. Just as Samson prevailed in the end over the Philistines and killed more in his death than he did in his life. Trump will be avenged against his foes and bring down the house of the Democrats.

Samson was a strange pick by God, who never seemed to lose his faith in Samson to perform his calling despite his moral failures. Trump seems to also be an odd pick to MAGA by reestablishing Kingdom of God principles in our civic and economic affairs. With the help of an awakened Church supporting the President, America can still see its best days ahead. Donald J. Trump is an extraordinary choice to make America once again a bastion of Christianity and the herald of the freedom that follows Christ.

Roseanne Show and Trump

roseanne-reboot-cast.jpg

I just finished watching the Roseanne Show. I was not impressed. The  daughter and granddaughter have moved in with Roseanne and husband; the granddaughter is a 15-year-old disrespectful hellion. Roseanne does put her in her place.

There was no mention of Trump or politics in general. If the show is going to continue with high ratings, it will have to incorporate more of the Trump theme. The late-night comedians realize the power of negatively invoking the name of Trump to increase ratings. There is even more power in naming the name of Trump in a positive way, especially among working class people, which Roseanne is evidently targeting.

I never watched Roseanne’s first round as the protagonist in her first sitcom. Nor did I ever see her talk show. The only thing I remember was her off-key rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner at a baseball game. He performance was especially disgraceful because she grabbed her crotch and spit after singing the sacred anthem. I remember Bush I was offended at her performance.
