African Missionaries to America

by Sis. Cindy

Centuries ago Methodist missionaries took the Gospel to Africans who had never heard of Jesus! Feb. 23rd 2019, the African United Methodists led by Dr Jerry P. Kulah, came to St Louis to declare the Gospel to us, and save the United Methodist Church from apostasy!

Read Dr. Kulah’s powerful speech and rebuke of the self-righteous American UMC church elite who thought that the Africans could be bought off!!

He that sits in the heavens laughed!! Ps 2:4

Well done, our African friends and thank you!!!

People Love Trump Results

by Sis. Cindy

The FACT is that unemployment is the lowest it has ever been for African-Americans and Hispanics!! But I still was surprised by this statement by my mother’s nurse (who is Black and in a predominantly African-American county) two weeks ago: “I am not political but Trump has helped more people get back to work. My aunt and I were talking about this yesterday. And we agreed there are more jobs! And we do need that wall!”

Just saying…just continuing to celebrate Presidents Day…turning it into a week long thing!! Love you Mr. President!!!

Fake News

by Sis. Cindy

I am a trained journalist! I chose to go to the University of Florida because they had the best journalism school in the south.

My passion was working as a news reporter for the Independent Florida Alligator, the student paper that actually paid us minimum wage. I would have done it for free!!

My news class was taught by a crusty old guy retired from Associated Press. He bragged about being a “leg man” and had a major crush on Sophia Loren but when it came to news reporting he had high standards!

One day he pretended to be the University President and gave a speech for our class. Our assignment was to listen carefully and pick the lead story (most newsworthy) from the speech. It was a scary assignment because 1) It would not be the main topic of the speech. 2) There was only ONE right answer and we would either make an A or an F.

Back then, journalism schools taught professional standards! I could not have argued with my prof as to what was most newsworthy in my opinion. We there to learn how to be objective professionals. Our opinions were for the editorial pages ONLY!

Today’s journalists have never taken a news course. They are wannabe actors with their personal agendas. They are masters at twisting, distorting and fabricating their own realities.

This is especially true when it comes to our beloved President Trump. They have thrown out all journalistic standards and then they want to whine, “Trump is not presidential!” Thank God he’s not! Thank God for a president who puts the fake news in its place!! Still celebrating President’s Day!

First Lady Parties at Smocks

by Sis. Cindy

When each of our five daughters turned 13 we threw a First Lady party for them. Friends and family received an snail mail invitation to “The White House.” The instructions were to come dressed as a First Lady or President (males). Each was to present a 1 minute speech telling us about the one she/he was dressed like. I cooked foods that former Presidents liked. We played games and had a grand old time!

We started this tradition with our eldest, Evangeline, who played Helen Taft, and it was a much anticipated event as each of our five turned 13. Charlotte Vatandoust was Abigail Adams but none of us remember who Justina Adams portrayed! Charlotte remembers that Justina was Lady Bird Johnson!!

Pictured are Martha, (4th) who played Julia Tyler and Priscilla (5th) who was Helen Taft at their parties. Martha wore my wedding dress because Julia Tyler was married in the White House! Mom and Dad always played the Grants and Aunt Donna was at every party as Rosalynn Carter.

I have lots of pictures of each five events and even videos, but all this was done before the digital age and I’m in Arizona far away from the family albums.

When our 1st granddaughter, Iris was born, I said, “Thirteen more years until her First Lady party!!” Iris will make a lovely Melania in three more years…if that’s her choice…Happy Presidents Day!!

Pilgrim Economics By Sister Cindy

Pilgrim ECONOMICS!!💰Although religious freedom was a Pilgrim priority, it was not their primary reason for coming to the New World. 🧐They had fled the persecutions of England and lived in Holland with freedom to worship for a decade. 🙏 So why leave Holland?? 🤨 Two issues that concern us all, motivated our Pilgrim fathers: children and economics. Even in the 17th century, the morals of the Dutch were very low and were a terrible influence on the youth. The Pilgrims had been farmers but they were forced to work long and gruesome hours in the Dutch textile industry. They were aging prematurely and barely making ends meet. The Pilgrims were willing to risk all for a better life for their offspring and the hope for economic prosperity for all! Their faith and industry laid the foundation for the country and economic system that has provided the highest standard of living for the most amount of people with the greatest religious freedom know to man! Let us thank God and follow the example of our forefathers👏 What are we doing to make it better for the next generation?👶

Come cruise with me! by Sister Cindy

I have an extraordinary invitation for you my friend! Come cruise with me!! This cruise will make you a better person and enable you to change many lives for good!

I want to tell you the story of three women and two men that I met on the 35th anniversary cruise from which BrotherJed and I just returned!! Their stories are captivating!

Brenda is a young mother of 11 making $12,000 a month!! Megan is a homeschool mom of 6, 13 and under! Five of them are boys! She is making a 6 figure income! There is Mrs. Ryan who started her business while living in a 1200 square foot 2 bedroom home with 7 kids! I met Jeddie, a father of two who worked at a tire plant and then finally football Coach Ron who was the first Plexus man Diamond, a man who loves helping people!

These five people come from varied backgrounds but, they are all believers, they have all helped thousands of people get healthy, they have each led their teams (friends) to financial freedom and they have been a channel of financial blessing to many more!

As I listened to these five stories while cruising the Caribbean FREE, a few days ago, my thoughts were on you my friend! There are over 500 people in the top three ranks of my Plexus making 6 figure incomes. The captivating truth is that they are just ordinary people like you and me, who have made extraordinary choices!

I am just getting started on my cruise to the top of Plexus. Right now I am making $500-$1200 a month which is a blessing! Why did I get on this boat? I love helping people get healthy and I love being a channel of financial blessing. But also I have a dream to take you on this cruise with me! What are your dreams? What good would you do with an extra hundred a month, thousand, 10,000, 20,000? The God who made this beautiful moon we all enjoy, wants to do his people good!

I invite you to take this plexus cruise with me! It only costs $34.95 to start your own business with this company!! There may be some rough waters along the way…some hard work, but also a lot of fun and a lot of joy.

Come cruise with me! I am looking for ordinary people who want to make extraordinary choices! All aboard! The moon is yours for the taking!

After about 15 minutes of preaching at Butler University last Monday, I had no crowd. The police told Bro. Frank that since the lunch break was over, we would not get much attention today. (They were hoping we would leave. Bro Jed was home so it was just the three of us.)

Even though it looked like the police were right because the only people around where the 3 fraternity boys across the street who had brought their stereo to the porch to mock the preaching by blasting Highway to HELL, I commented, that’s what they think. I’m getting a crowd.

I did have some doubts, but preached on in faith. I looked across the street and started calling the fraternity boys out! In a few, three of them marched over to confront me in an intimidating way. The police probably groaned because that was the beginning of a meeting that lasted until 4:30.

In another post I will tell you more of the great things that happened on the day that I ignored the discouraging words, but for now, you’re take away is ignore the “evil report” and step out in faith!! We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!!

Psalm 72 was in my devotional reading today. It is King David’s prayer of blessing upon his son, King Solomon. Our dear President Trump has the same blessing upon him! Notice how David instructs us to pray for our leader! #MAGA

“Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son. He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor. They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth. In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust. The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him. For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight. And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen. The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.”

Trump’s Benediction By Sis Cindy

Trump’s Benediction! I love the message that my dear President leaves with us at the end of each campaign rally! I am going to memorize it! And teach it to my 7 grandkids!!

We will never give up. We will never give in. We will never, ever back down and we will never, ever surrender.

Because we are Americans and our hearts bleed red, white, and blue.

We are one people. We are one family. And we are one glorious nation under God.

And together we will make America wealthy again. We will make America strong again. We will make America safe again. And we will make America great again!

Trump and my Plexus By Sis Cindy

Trump and Plexus have inspired me to be more courageous.

Like Charles Dickens said of old Ebenezer Scrooge, “he was better than his word!” Trump has boldly kept his promises to the American people and done much more for us than he promised! He is a true servant of the people who refuses to back down!

Likewise my Plexus training and extraordinary leaders have inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and share what I love with those I love, be it products, truth or both.

I am thankful for the people/things God brings into my life to mature me in the faith! I am more committed than ever to the path of boldness and servanthood.

“Thy will be done, they Kingdom come!” IN ME!
